The moment you lay eyes on Colaneri Estate Winery you realize in an instant that it is a truly special place. Located in the heart of the St. David’s Bench sub-appellation, the almost impossibly grand building is sprawled out in the lush Colaneri family vineyards. Built in the Romanesque style, the winery is an exceptionally unique point of interest in Niagara-on-the-Lake, as there are no other wineries, nay, buildings, made in this style in the region.
Established in both Niagara-on-the-Lake and in British Columbia, Jackson-Triggs is committed to the production of wines unique to the terroir.
Established in 2001, the Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate Winery is one of the most technologically advanced winemaking facilities in Canada and employs a gravity-flow assisted system of winemaking that eliminates pumping that could potentially harm the young wines.
Though PondView Estate Winery is one of the newest wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake, it is likely the winery most steeped in old world traditions.
PondView Estate Winery is owned by Luciano (Lou) and Adriana Puglisi. Lou is the third generation grape grower in his family, who hail from Sicily, Italy. His father, Giuseppe Puglisi emigrated to Canada and brought his knowledge of grape growing with him.
The enjoyment of wine is an encompassing sensory experience. Not only is wine to be tasted, but it should be observed with the eyes, the nose, the feel in the mouth, and by the intrigue created as the wine plays against other flavours on the palate.
At Reif Estate Winery, the philosophy of rich sensory experiences extends well beyond the wine and is evident in every aspect of the facility.
